{hand-quilting}
{ be a star}
Hope you don't mind another {random} post! It has been weeks of work in progress here. I realized that I haven't had any completed handmade to share with you for a very long time. Today, I am home alone; just me, dark coffee, sewing machine, needles, threads, fabric piles, and of course the background sound from of {Kiki's delivery service}. I can't tell you how many times I have watched it and how many time I have watery eyes while watching Kiki finding her way in the new city. It makes me think of myself when I first came to Untied States as a teenager.... very { touched}..
Lately, I am craving for soft and sweet colors and sadly I don't have much sweet and soft fabrics in my stash. These prints were brought back by my friend from her last visit to Japan. I love the soft tones of different pinks and of course the {french country style cross-stitch print}. I had to order some since the piece I received was a sample piece.
Snow piles are still here! The roads are clear and we are able to get our way home and in the city without any troubles. I didn't want to scare you, but our car got stuck in the road of heavy snow for many times in last few days. We had to dig the car out in the almost middle of the road. Thank goodness we are safe and sound. There are few more photograph to take for some new works that just finished and some new pieces are in action. The little sheep/ lamb is really adorable! Finished the embroidery last night, but waiting to be hand-quilted. more to share on this handmade soon!
