Random: Log cabin step two

The sun is shining. The wind is gentle.  The windows are open again. Dear S is reading. The hood is quiet again! The basket is empty with cut fabric, but now storing  100 blocks of log cabin block. I made extra 5 blocks! I am thinking.. thinking of my backing.... something simple...

    Can't wait to see all these blocks sewn together! As a suggestion, I think you should use your extra blocks on the backing.
